Rex de arte Regia

The Magical Record of the Beast 666

"Rex de arte Regia" (The Magical Diary of Baphomet). — Between 1914 and 1918 Crowley's own diary Rex de Arte Regia, records a long series of 309 acts of sexual magic for a variety of purposes. [quote from "Magia Sexualis: Sex, Magic, and Liberation in Modern Western Esotericism" by Hugh B. Urban]

— [This diary was kept in parallel with the present diary; indications of “Op.,” “Opus” or “Operation” followed by a number are usually crossreferences to Crowley’s O.T.O. diary. (Op. refer to 'operations' from the "Rex de arte Regia".)]
